The MS-406 of Wladyslaw Chciuk

The Museum du souvenir in Haut Wastia display the rudder of a Morane MS-406 (N° 948) shot down in May 1940 thanks to our friend Eric who discovered some years ago this unique piece of history.

The pilot of this aircraft was Wladyslaw Chciuk who survived the crash and had a distinguish career flying with the Royal Air Force. (see more here http://home.teleport.com/~flyheart/wladek.htm )

The decals for this aircraft is availlable from Techmod in both 1/72 and 1/48
(about the techmod MS-406 on IPMS Deutschland

The http://www.armorama.com website publish an article about the construction of a model of the MS-406 N° 948.

Maybe a good occasion to add a model of historic significance in our collection
